Baci Perugina Packaging

Baci Perugina Packaging is a collaborative project realized at IUAV University of Venice.

The project brief concerned the creation of a packaging for a specific number of products. In addition, the challenge arose in considering the lower consumption of material waste to go to create the packaging. In our case, we had to work with 10 Baci Perugina chocolates.
After numerous tests and sketches, we designed a structure made out of cardboard that could emphasize the physical characteristics of the single chocolate (given by the hazelnut placed at the top).
Taking advantage of the laser cutting technique on cardboard, we managed to place the largest number of packaging on a 100x70 cm sheet of cardboard, reducing waste to a minimum.

The packaging structure allows users to share individual chocolates as a gift or to turn it into a game.
